Wet hop collaboration: Big Rock Brewery, Common Crown Brewing, Northern Girls HopyardStyle
Wet Hop IPABeer story
A True Alberta IPA. This 3-way collaboration combines Alberta grown hops and barley, legendary brewing experience, and an exciting new up and comer in craft beer. With hops harvested west of Edmonton, and just hours later added to the brew in Calgary, it doesn’t get any fresher than this. A wet hopping ménage à trois. Round up your own threesome… and enjoy!
3-Way IPA was brewed using Alberta Heritage Select malt as well as Munich and Caramel malts. This produced a perfect sweet and spicy base for the freshly handpicked Cascade hop cones that were driven to the brewery and added to the brew kettle within 4 hours of being plucked from the Northern Girls Hopyard. The result is a refreshingly aromatic Wet Hop IPA, with scents of floral grapefruit and sweet citrus. There is a subtle hop bite that is bursting at the seams with Wet Hop freshness in this golden amber beauty.
A great wet hop brewed with friends. It doesn't get any better (or fresher) than this. ~Brewmaster Paul Gautreau
